jqueryでreplaceWithメソッドを使うと指定した要素のhtmlタグを変更することができます。ここでは、要素を変更するまでのサンプルコードを記述してます。

replaceWith使い方

ボタンをクリックすると「div」を「button」に変更するサンプルコードとなります。
